Mark your calendars! On Tuesday, December 18th from 1:15-3:00 SLAMS will be hosting the first ever Museum of Current Events!

Students in 5th and 6th grade have been working hard to learn about key issues that affect their communities. They are taking what they’ve learned and are turning into a museum exhibit. Projects include websites, podcasts, videos, books, essays, posters, and more! In small committees students are preparing a guide to the museum, decorations for rooms, and introductory presentation, and much more.

Please join us for this whole school event as we celebrate their learning. Families, friends, and community members are all warmly welcomed to attend!
