Techsplorations classes for all grades are starting the year with a discussion on the importance of Digital Citizenship, and what that means for them.  Fifth and Sixth grade classes are focusing on the basics of online safety and how to protect personal information.  Seventh grade classes are learning how to check the credibility of information online, whether that is a news article, a social media post, or a website.    Our goal at SLAMS is to have our students be knowledgeable, respectful digital citizens who can use critical thinking to evaluate information found online.
