During the end of 2018, SLAMS’ Advisories looked for ways to reach out through community service.  Ms. Ko and Miss E’s Advisory (the KoE’s) decided to do a Bake Sale and raise money for a charity. The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) was selected.  The Advisee’s organized the bake sale and raised over $65.00 in just one day! A generous (and anonymous) patron donated to the cause so that the KoE’s Advisory could donate an even $100.00 to CHOP!

On Friday, March 1st, the KoE’s Advisory headed out, despite the snowy weather, and presented their donation, including a giant “check” designed by Ms. Hull, to Ellie Paparone, Development Coordinator, School and Youth Programs for CHOP.
