Hello SLAMS families and friends!  Summer is almost over and the school year is upon us.  The faculty and staff of SLAMS are looking forward to seeing students and their families at the start of the school year.  Below are a few important dates to add to your calendar.

Tuesday, September 3rd is the first day of school It will be a full day.
Sunday, September 8th there will be a Back-to-School potluck picnic hosted by Home and School. It will run from about 2pm-4pm in Clark Park
Thursday, September 12th is Back to School Night from 5:00-7:00, come see your advisory and meet the new 7th and 8th grade teachers!
Tuesday, September 24th from 5:30-7:30 is the High School Process Workshop. Ms. Sharlean along with 8th grade advisors will be running a workshop about the high school process. We strongly encourage everyone to attend. We will also use this time to schedule one-on-one meetings with Ms. Sharlean
