Zephyr science classes for grades 7 and 8 recently dissected sharks.  We are learning about levels of organization in living things, and we focused on organs and organ systems for our lab time and modeling. For the argumentative writing portion of this project, we are explaining whether we should make artificial organs in the future, and supporting our claims with evidence and reasoning. The shark dissection was full of surprises (baby sharks, doo doo de doo) and very stinky, and we had a great time.
