Yesterday, SLAMS 5th and 6th grade students and their families embarked on our interactive walk for the Bravery In The Neighborhood unit.  Students worked hard researching and writing about local spots where individuals or groups showed bravery, and then transformed their research into podcasts.  Each podcast was added to an interactive Google Map, and groups spent the afternoon walking the neighborhood to various points of interest on these maps and listening to the podcasts.  You can read all about this amazing project, and access the map for your own neighborhood walk here.
